Who wants to watch noise anyway? I'd trade a shaky dim lit video for some nice tape saturation any day. The Bakery Floor is a personal offering of live cassette recordings taken throughout New York City (and other metrocard-accessible pockets of cool) on a handheld Sony walkman. Recordings are presented unedited and meant for archival and demonstration purposes only, also medicinally and recreationally too I suppose. Sets are only offered via stream, and are non-downloadable, so check back and check back often. In some cases tapes run out and/or batteries die. Shit happens. Be aware that as I upload older sets, these will be published to respective dates of the performance, and in turn will not show at the top of the archive feed, so I encourage you to subscribe/follow to avoid missing some real gems in the pipe. Lastly, if you are an artist included here and would like a particular set removed, please let me know and i will take it down in a jiffy. If you've gotten this far, I also recommend that you totally try layering these for added wondrous cacophony.
